ITS AN EXCITING TIME TO BE A LIVE PERFORMING MUSICIAN

Brad McConnell bass player, originally
from Muncie Indiana, started playing bass
when some friends had a little garage
band and they needed a bass player. I said
what's the base? They said it's four strings
and you play the bottom note. I said I think
I can do that! One of my baseball coaches
had a bass that he let me use and I started
playing. Within a few months I was playing
high schools and events around Central
Indiana before moving to the Tampa Bay
area.I played in the club scene in and
around the southeast, have many studio
credits, and got involved in the tribute
scene. Since then I have been fortunate
enough to travel all over the United States
playing music with great musicians. I'm
looking forward to seeing you all out there
and putting on a great show. Peace!!

Regan Scott Knight is a drummer, percussionist, singer from Tampa, Florida and began playing clubs in the Tampa Bay area when he was still in high school. Regan is classically a trained musician that studied drums under the legendary Joe Belardino, who played with jazz legend, Lionel Hampton in the late 50s.
By the early 80s, he was recording his own original music in his first all original band, Baytovyn.
After retiring from playing the circuit in southeast for 7 years, he settled down, got married and raised a family. However, the musical itch never quite goes away, so some 12 years later, Regan returned to the music scene and since then has performed and recorded with Gulf Coast records national recording artist, Glenn Cummings and BMG recording artists 20 Shades. Regan has played professionally for 45 years in nearly every genre of music imaginable and has no plans of slowing down.

“I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t want to play guitar” says Walt. “For as long as I can remember, I had asked for an electric guitar at Christmas but never got one.” It wasn’t until his parents saw how serious he was that they made an offer to match any money he could save to buy one. Finally, he saved enough, and with his parents help, bought an inexpensive copy of a Gibson Les Paul. Incidentally, it was also the same year that Boston released their debut album. It was a major influence on him. “I used to play that album over and over. I knew it was something special. The guitar sound was just incredible. The songwriting, the vocal harmonies, and the production, was so unique. One of the first things I learned to play was the beginning of “More Than a Feeling.” Years later, several “happy accidents” enabled me to accurately replicate the Boston guitar sound. It was a watershed moment.”
Another early influence was UFO’s Michael Schenker. “His tone, technique, and melodic style just blew me away. I spent hours locked in my room learning his solos. I actually got to meet him in person at the Keswick Theater in Pennsylvania after a show. He was a great guy.”
A fortuitous situation led to a posting on Craigslist for a second guitar player in Amanda. “I was in a Boston tribute band in New Jersey for 5 years, but I left when an opportunity to move to Florida came about. I’ve dreamed of living here my entire life. However, I started to worry I’d never find another Boston tribute that would be looking for a guitar player. After an email and phone call, I met with Rocky and we hit it off. We are very much alike. We both put a huge amount of effort in sounding just like the songs that people are accustomed to hearing. In a tribute band, that’s the number one priority. It’s essential when capturing the magic of Boston’s music, which is what we’re trying to do. I think our fans will agree.”
